Miss Sue Down

Course Development and Assessment Lead and OPBS Course Co-Lead
Sue Down is a Consultant oncoplastic breast surgeon at James Paget University Hospital in Great Yarmouth, and is also co-course director of the Masters degree programme in oncoplastic breast surgery. Sue completed her medical degree and a degree in biomedical science at the University of Manchester. Following basic surgical training, she completed her PhD in Cancer Studies at the University of Birmingham in 2005. She then undertook specialist surgical training in the East Anglian region, and was awarded a prestigious national training fellowship post in oncoplastic breast surgery. Sue has held various professional posts including Chair of the Mammary Fold National Breast Trainees Association, and has contributed to several textbooks in the fields of breast surgery and surgical education.

E-Learning Manager
Andrew comes from an educational technology background where he designed multimedia resources and developed online learning communities for medical specialists, midwives and trainees within the healthcare setting and for industry. Andrew joined UEA in September 2010 and is now E-Learning Manager for the Specialist Clinical Mastership programme. He is also part of the UEA's Excellent in Teaching Website group, University Health Online steering committee and Medical Ethics Committee.
